What are Glow Stones and how do they work?

Glow Stones are decorative, quartz-like stones designed to absorb natural or ambient light during the day and emit a soft glow after dark. Available in Blue, Green and Aqua, they are suitable for landscaping, decorative concrete and other creative outdoor surfaces.

How long do Glow Stones glow for?

Glow Stones can glow for up to 6 hours in ideal conditions. The brightness and duration depend on the amount of light absorbed during the day and the surrounding lighting conditions at night. They work best in areas that receive direct light during the day and are dark at night.

How much Glow Stones do I need and can they be used in concrete?

For best results, we recommend approximately 100-200 grams per square metre, depending on the desired appearance and application. Glow Stones can be incorporated into suitable decorative concrete applications, including pathways and polished concrete.

Can Glow Stones be used for safety?

Yes. As well as being decorative, Glow Stones can be used where external lighting is unavailable and a visual guide is required. They can help guide people along pathways and through external areas.
